About Soundsizzle

So here’s the big scary elephant in the room…

Most creators think they need to be “musical” to use music strategically in their videos.

They couldn’t be more wrong.

Hi, I’m Stephen, and for 30 years, I’ve worked with music to picture, creating soundtracks for TV commercials, TV productions, movies and games.

I’ve been lucky to have my music used in Hollywood movies like Bad Teacher (Cameron Diaz), cult TV shows like Bo Selecta, The Office, MasterChef, games like Colin McRae ‘Dirt’, and even theme parks!

I also spent years working with ad agencies creating soundtracks for offline brands and their products and services, which proved to be invaluable…

🎧 But then in 2009, everything changed…

The music landscape shifted and I found myself working more and more online rather than the offline world which had been my comfort zone.
Over time I became a content creator myself working with music and video.

There was a considerable learning curve, getting to grips with all the new visual tech and apps,  and despite all my musical background, I was making the same mistakes you probably are right now – I was treating music as an after thought, like decorative wallpaper instead of a strategic lever.

I was treating music as an after thought, like decorative wallpaper instead of a strategic lever.

I’d forgotten how vital the music video partnership was.

I knew something was missing from my videos, but it took me a while to realize it was the soundtrack – the very thing I should have known how to do!

💡 Here’s What I Discovered

In the professional world, every piece of music is chosen for a specific reason.

Nothing is accidental.

We had systems, strategies, and methods for triggering exact emotions at exact moments.

But online creators? They were flying blind.

So I decided to bridge that gap.

I took everything I learned from working with major brands and TV productions and translated it into something any content creator could use – without needing a music degree or expensive software.

🎯 Why This Matters to You

You’re already putting in the work – creating great visuals, writing compelling scripts, editing everything together. You’re so close to having content that truly connects.

The missing piece? Strategic music and a killer soundtrack that converts.

And here’s the good news: you don’t need to figure this out the hard way like I did.
